As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end so we’re saying a fond farewell to our Eric Carle collaboration with a celebratory sale and a fond walk down memory lane!
Five Years of Sweet, Colourful Dreams Together
In 2019, Nest Designs became the very first baby clothing company to collaborate with Eric Carle. That year, we released our first collaboration together, inspired by the colourful and playful characters found in Carle’s classic children's stories. His love of nature translated into his books and aligned perfectly with Nest Design’s eco-friendly, earth-conscious values.
Over the last five years, our collaborations blended sleepwear with Carle’s timeless bedtime stories, making for a dreamy match up. Everyone, from infants to adults, have enjoyed our many collections featuring their favourite characters. Some of our favorite prints included:
Lemon Squeezy (best seller): A print featuring the Very Hungry Caterpillar amongst yellow citrus fruit.
Avo Good Day (best seller): This print features cut avocados and a caterpillar looking to eat it (he’s still hungry, after all!).

Candy Cane Lane: Our holiday print showcasing the Very Hungry Caterpillar getting festive with candy canes, snowflakes, stockings, and bows.
I Spy Cacti: A print that shows our friend, the Very Hungry Caterpillar, wandering around these prickly plants.
Autumn Leaves: A print inspired by Eric Carle’s book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar's First Fall.
Herb Garden: This print shows the Very Hungry Caterpillar exploring different kinds of cooking herbs.
Garden Flight: In this sweet print, bumblebees and dragonflies flit amongst the flowers.
Zoo Buddy: This print shows off two of the zoo's most prominent characters, elephants and giraffes.
Farmer’s Market: In this fun print, the Very Hungry Caterpillar is trying to decide which colourful fruit and vegetables to eat first.

Nest Designs Pantone Collaboration
When the Very Hungry Caterpillar turned into a butterfly, it flew away, and its story continued elsewhere. Though we loved the Eric Carle collections we brought you over the years, it’s time to send these remaining pieces out into the world, to make room for new collections and new memories.
